Green Wings Partners
"Fractional travelling, the future of flight"
HondaJet – Fractional Ownership
Helicopter - Fractional Ownership
It is with great pride that we, as the first Scandinavian operator, are able to offer you a unique concept of Fractional Ownership of second-generation Very Light Jets, as well as helicopters.
Summary
Europe’s major airports are receiving more and more traffic, and are approaching their maximum capacity limit. At these airports, often referred to as "hubs”, it is therefore common for the ordinary traveler to encounter delays due to the sheer volume of activity.
Large planes are forced increasingly often to go into holdings, both in the air and in queue for accessing the runway which is not conducive either to the environment or to the passengers themselves.
Long check-in times, security, passport lanes, reloading of luggage at other hubs with new waiting times, delays and other time-swallowing factors have resulted in a strong need for a revolutionary new way of travelling - the Very Light Jet.
Time is money, and time itself is indeed the foundation of what Green Wings Partners offer.
The concept has existed for many years with other planes (such as Learjet), but has until now always been geared towards the more affluent in society.
The new VLJ planes cut the operating costs of the above planes considerably, creating an entirely new customer base for both companies and private individuals with good financial resources.
For a company/private individual, owning a small jet alone is both expensive and time-consuming, considering everything that has to be arranged as far as hangar locations, permits, pilots and administration etc.
It is equally complicated and expensive to own a helicopter alone. A machine with so many rotating parts must be on a strict and constant service schedule for the various components.
Transferring all of these responsibilities instead to companies that offer co-ownership, (known as Fractional Ownership), has proven to be a winning formula, the popularity of which is increasing dramatically all over the world.
Fractional Ownership
In our program our customers own a part of the plane / helicopter, and the flights can therefore be classed as private trips. It is possible to choose to either be part- owner of both the VLJ planes and the helicopters, or only one of the two.
Economic Advantages Compared to Charter Flights
As long as our customers fly more than 50 hours per year, our plan is also economically advantageous in comparison with charter flights. In addition, the ability to write off costs ensued by a partnership in our company is, of course, also an economic benefit to our customers.
Tax Deductable
Each country has, of course, its own tax system, but it is very probable that costs ensued in the purchase of a partnership in our company will be tax deductable. We therefore recommend our customers to contact the relvant tax authority in their home country.
VLJ-planes
The generally accepted definition of VLJ is: "A small jet aircraft approved for a single pilot, with 4-8 seats and a maximum take-off weight of 10 000 pounds."
The uniqueness of these planes is that while they have the ability to maintain performance of the same quality as an ordinary aircraft, they also have the great advantage of being able to launch and land at smaller airports, which the major transport planes cannot. Thus can VLJs completely avoid the problems associated with larger and more time-intensive airports.
VLJ planes take, on average, 4-6 passengers, which means that they most often fly fully booked. This is a very strong environmental argument indeed for VLJs, as the problem of flying with half-empty planes is one that the large flight companies have been grappling with.
Another strong plus on the environmental side is that with VLJs one is able to fly directly to his or her destination instead of changing planes at various hubs and flying a circuitous route in order to get there. Also, thanks to its light weight, the VLJ avoids both costly environmental taxes as well as other taxes.
Second Generation VLJ-planes
VLJ planes have already made their debut on the market. Manufacturers such as EMBRAER, HONDA, and CESSNA, are starting to produce what are known as second generation planes. The main difference is that these are built of carbon fiber instead of aluminum, and they have even more efficient engines than current business jets on the market.
Helicopters
Productivity and efficiency can be increased additionally by booking a connecting helicopter to your VLJ plane. Sometimes the need for rapid transport arises, regardless of whether it is passengers or cargo to be transported. In these cases a helicopter becomes very advantageous on shorter routes. (Up to 250Km.)
With the helicopter's unique characteristics it can very effectively and quickly take you to your destination and in many cases land exactly where you wish it to- even at your doorstep!
There are many advantages to using helicopters for business purposes, not the least of which is for customer relations. To be able to take a helicopter trip to a scenic location for a meal at a gourmet restaurant, to a conference, to the golf course or just simply for some sight-seeing is always very much appreciated by clients. It is not only very enjoyable at the time, but it also provides a memory for life and is a perfect way of creating good customer relations.
The picture is showing the Bell 206 LongRanger (L-4). The Bell LongRanger is a two-bladed turbine driven helicopter with a reliable Rolls Royce motor. Bell helicopters are among the most established and trustworthy helicopters in the world, and this particular model is a more recent version of the well-known JetRanger, which is still in production due to its undiminished popularity. Please contact us for the specific type of helicopter you are interested in.
Safety
Even some of the new twin-engine aircraft is certified to fly with only one pilot. We have chosen to maximize safety by always using planes with the two engine system and by always having two experienced pilots in our VLJ planes.

When it comes to our helicopter pilots, we will also of course, only employ highly experienced pilots.
We’ll Wait4You
With us it’s our clients themselves, together with the pilot(s) for their individual flight, who have free reign to choose exactly when they wish to travel.
We have developed a concept based on the fact that companies very often are not able to precisely predict how long their business trips will be. For example, perhaps it is not possible to know exactly how long a conference will last beforehand. Or, on the contrary, sometimes unexpected events can occur which require our customers to return home ahead of schedule.
If a situation arises in which our client requires overnight accommodations, and the plane is not booked for the next day, the customer automatically becomes eligible for our program “We’ll Wait 4 You”. Our pilots will wait for up to 24 hours without any extra cost to our client, excepting lodging for the pilots. The We’ll Wait 4 You concept both gives our clients an economic advantage as well as cutting down on unnecessary flight time, an undeniable advantage from an environmental point of view.
Rapid Refueling4You
When travelling to the most distant parts of Europe, it can be necessary to refuel en route. The uniqueness of our planes is that they can refuel at small airports that are situated more directly on the client's route, and are therefore not governed by other passengers’ destinations. Baggage remains on the plane, and we are ready for liftoff after only half an hour, without having to change planes.
Traditional airlines utilize some 300 airports, while commercial aviation with the Learjet and similar planes use up to 550 different airfields. We expect to be able to reach many more European airports with our VLJ planes.
We call this concept we’ll "Rapid Refueling4You".
Time-saving
Time is money, as the saying goes, and this concept constitutes the very foundation of Fractional Ownership. We are not a low-cost carrier, but rather offer fast and friction-free service with time -saving itself as our most important factor. Owning a helicopter or a jet alone is quite complicated and time-consuming.
Would it not be nice to be able to use one’s own jets or helicopters entirely for oneself and not have to worry about all the practicalities? Doesn’t it also seem like a very good idea to be able to come home to the family faster, rather than having to wait for hours in congested airports with delays and the like?
Our clients also have the opportunity to take a family member along on their flights, as long as there are free seats available, at no extra cost.
The extremlely time-consuming aspects of travelling such as having to check in an hour and a half before departure, checking in luggage, going through security checks, etc, will only be a formality with Green Wings Partners.
On longer routes with commercial airlines, passengers are very often forced to change planes at major airports, and must often therefore wait for several hours for the reloading of luggage. This is, however, not a concern for our customers, as our VLJ planes will not be using these big congested airports.
In fact, our use of “smaller” airports not only saves time due to lack of congestion, but also because these airports are very often situated closer to our clients’ final destination. These airports are often in the vicinity of the major hubs, however, in which case the larger airports can be used as an alternative according to current regulations.
To be able to make an individual flying schedule, together with the pilot, which is particular to each client and each trip, allows for enormous freedom in the use of our planes and helicopters.
Service/Booking
We will, of course, assist our customers in the booking of taxis, and other travel reservations that may be relevant. Bookings can either be made on the Internet or by calling directly to those of our pilots who are on standby. The time saved, which indirectly means money saved, is a key element of our entire concept. As a member, it is possible to go to our website to book any special requests pertaining to each individual flight.
Extended Fractional Ownership
With Fractional Ownership, it is possible for a situation to arise in which another partner has already booked your plane/ helicopter exactly when you want to use it. To facilitate this situation, we have introduced a concept we call Extended Fractional Ownership. What this entails is that partnership in a plane/helicopter automatically entitles our customers to the use of all of GWP’s planes and helicopters. This paves the way for our customers to be able to take advantage of all of our aircraft in case of double-booking. Should all of our aircraft be booked, the customer who has booked first has priority.
Green Wings Partners does not reimburse our clients if all of our planes are fully booked. (In rare cases of extreme weather conditions, for example thick fog, which can affect safety, the pilot may choose to re-plan his route or to cancel the flight without reimbursement to the customer, such as also is standard practice with regularly rented planes.)
However, if an approved flight with Green Wings Partners is cancelled due to other factors, such as technical problems, pilot illness or other the like, our customers are provided with a replacement flight for which we cover the costs.
The advantages of Extended Fractional Ownership minimize the risk for double booking the more the fleet expands.
At the end of five years, or when the contracted flight hours have been used up for all of each particular plane’s or helicopter’s partners, we assist our customers in selling their plane at an appropriate market price, for a standard provision of 7%.
Consequently, our customers will be offered a new share ownership in a completely new machine that will be purchased by the company.
Accumulated Flight Hours
Our customers fly a certain number of hours per year, which is equivalent to the number of their shares in the initial purchase. The more shares a client has in the machine, the more hours he/she is entitled to fly at a preferential price. If a customer has purchased the right to fly 400 hours per year but only uses 300 of these, he or she is naturally not required to pay for the remaining 100 hours.
Green Wings Partners does not, however, reimburse unused flight time.
Flight time is calculated according to the following standard: 6 minutes before takeoff and 6 minutes after landing. Should delays on the ground occur, Green Wings Partners covers any additional costs which may arise.
In order to ensure the financial solubility of the company, however, our Fractional Ownership customers are required to use at least 50 hours of flight time per year.
Rotorwing customers, (with partnerships in both helicopters and planes) have the advantage of 20% more flight hours.
Rotorwings Bonus Program
As a "Rotor wings client", a customer is a partner in both helicopters and airplanes. As an added bonus, the client increases his/her entitled flight hours with an additional 20% in each share, at the same hourly rate.
Primary Green Area
A customer’s Primary Green Area consists of the geographical area in and around where his or her plane has its home base, and concerns the space within which the customer doesn’t pay for moving his or her plane into flight position.
Costs
GWP has chosen to provide a costs proposal for Fractional Ownership according to a traditional model, including three separate costs:
1. Investment cost (for the plane or helicopter, a one-time cost.)
2. A consistent monthly fee (for pilot salaries, service and upkeep of the plane/helicopter, insurance, hangar fees, cleaning and management.)
3. An hourly fee for actual flight time. (This cost has a built-in variable, due to the fact that the price of fuel is not stable. This variable, over which GWP has no control, is generally known as FCU (Fuel Component Adjustment). With FCU accounted for, the hourly fee can vary either up or down. Landing fees are included in this hourly fee.
Our customers receive a monthly bill for the previous month’s flights, if they have in fact used their plane or helicopter. The consistent monthly fee is paid every month regardless of whether the customer has flown or not.
Additional Costs
If something should break down on the plane or helicopter, we cover all costs. There are no unexpected charges to the customer, a great advantage to not owning the whole machine privately.
When the we’ll Wait4You concept is put in to use, the customer pays for hotels for the pilots, as stated earlier.
Additional tickets, taxis, and the like, which we gladly help to coordinate and book, are naturally billed to the customer.
Airport fees sometimes can be incurred, depending upon the airport in question, and the time of day the landing takes place. Smaller airports have considerably lower fees than larger ones.
An extra cost can also be incurred if it is necessary to open an airport which is closed. In the case that this becomes a consideration, the pilot is required to consult with the customer before the flight, and receive his or her approval before taking any action in the matter.
Financial Risks
Our customers’ money is in safe hands when it is invested in our aircraft, as these machines have an intrinsic value in themselves, and are fully insured (including the passengers).
Even if our customers should choose not to fly during the first few years of their contracts, the company would still have many expenditures, such as salaries, technical services, hangar fees and other expenses.
It is clearly in the best interest of all involved to ensure the solidity of the company and counter the risk of bankruptcy. We have therefore decided to introduce a minimum yearly requirement for the number of flying hours that must be used. This requirement is 50 hours per year.
Starting up
Due to the fact that Green Wings Partners aims to use exclusively second generation VLJ planes, the timing of our startup is dependent upon the manufacturers' ability to recieve certification by the EASA. (The helicopters we will be using are already certified.) Green Wings Partners has chosen to employ Honda Jet second generation VLJs.
It is therefore our aim to soon be able to build up a fleet of planes and helicopters, during which time the sales of our partnerships will be under way. As soon as the Honda Jet is certified, we will be ready to start flying.
Letter of Intent
We look forward to hearing from you. Your expression of interest in the company simply entails that we make a notation as to which share would be appropriate for you, and is not legally binding.
Only when it is time for the actual purchase of a helicopter/plane will we contact you and draw up a contract that is legally binding.
